Learning. Military Wives was just absolutely brilliant. From the moment it started to the rolling credits, I did not move, I was 100% enthralled with the characters and the relationships they had. I cried many many times throughout, found bits heartbreaking, but still I came away feeling lighter with a warm glow inside.
I laughed, I cried and I cried some more. The last film I saw that was that moving, was Kramer vs Kramer. I loved it.
I was okay till the end. Who keeps peeling the onions. Girls you were and are brilliant. have faith in yourselves xxxx.

Attended the world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday. Honestly one of top 10 best films I've ever seen. Perfect mix of pathos (not sure I've ever cried more in a film 😳) laugh out loud humour and great music.
Inspired by true events this film is truly uplifting, funny and sad, a true must see. Still gets me every time I watch this. I grew up in Jacksonville NC as a Marine brat. I ended up joining the Navy. Ended up learning a few different trades that have set me up financially after getting out. I saw so many cheating wives and husbands through out my time. Best thing to do is stay single. The BAH isn't worth the headache. You always knew when Marines went to the field or deployment. Their wives and girlfriends would pack the bar's getting as much dick as they could. Same thing with the Navy. Everytime a battle group would leave, every cloud and bar in Norfolk and VA beach would be packed full of horny wives.
I agree with everybody here. It was very WELL DONE. It really brought a tear to my eye & a lump to my throat. Now if this doesn't bring a tear to your eye & a lump to your throat, nothing will ever will which means to me is you have to heart nor feelings at all. I heard this song on ABC Classic (106.1) several weeks ago and was delighted to find it on YouTube. Well done ladies,you sang beautifully and well done to the piano accompaniment.
